Short-Handed Men's Soccer's Season Ends In Thrilling, 4-2 Playoff Overtime Loss v. LA City

It appeared the #22 seed Pasadena City College men's soccer team would complete an upset over #11 Los Angeles City, leading 2-1 with four minutes left in overtime. But the Cubs earned a questionable call on foul in the box, leading to a tying penalty kick goal, then scored twice more to send the Lancers to a crushing, 4-2 loss in Round 1 of the Southern California Regional Playoffs. The game was played Wednesday night at LA Valley College.

For the third time in less than a month, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team will face South Coast Conference North DIvision rival Los Angeles CIty. This time, the stakes are higher as the #22-seeded Lancers face the #11 Cubs in Round 1 of the Southern California Regional Playoffs on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The 7:30 p.m. contest will be played at LA Valley College due to LACC's home field not of regulation width for the postseason.

Men's Soccer Limping Toward Postseason

After the best start to a season in Pasadena City College men's soccer team history in a 10-game undefeated streak (7-0-3), the last half of the Lancers 2025 season has been a rough one. PCC has won just once in its last eight games and dropped a 6-1 decision at Los Angeles City on Friday in the first round of the South Coast Conference Tournament.

Men's Soccer Ends 5-Game Winless Skein

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team has finally recovered from a flu bug that recently hit the squad. While still dealing with a few injuries as well, the Lancers stopped a rough, 5-game winless streak in South Coast Conference play with a 4-0 victory over Compton Friday at Robinson Stadium.

Men's Soccer Now 9-1-3 With 2nd SCC North Victory

The state #8-ranked Pasadena City College men's soccer team continued its winning ways, downing East Los Angeles, 3-1, in a South Coast Conference North Division game on Friday. The Lancers remain undefeated at Robinson Stadium, now 5-0-2 on their home pitch.

After 10-Match Undefeated Streak Snapped, State #8 Men's Soccer Triumphs In SCC North Opener

The state #8 Pasadena City College men's soccer team had its 10-match undefeated streak to begin the 2025 season end last Friday in a 3-1 loss at Bakersfield. But on Tuesday, the Lancers got back on the winning train tracks by routing Rio Hondo, 5-1, in their South Coast Conference North Division opener at Robinson Stadium.

Men's Soccer Rises To State #8, Best Start In Program History

In the history of Pasadena City College men's soccer, the Lancers have never had a start like this 2025 season. After PCC learned it had moved up to #8 on the CCCSIA State Top 20, the squad extended its season-long undefeated streak to 10 games in posting a 4-0 win over College of the Desert at Robinson Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Still Undefeated State #10 Men's Soccer Routs Pierce

On "ALE Night," at PCC's Robinson Stadium Friday night, the state #10 Pasadena City College men's soccer team gave many fans attending from the Association of Latino Employees much to cheer about. The Lancers poured it on with three goals in the final 13 minutes to close out a 5-0 blanking over LA Pierce.

Men's Soccer Undefeated After 6 Games

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team is off to its best start in 23 years after getting past host Orange Coast, 2-1, on Friday afternoon. The Lancers are undefeated at 4-0-2 and will wait to see if they get ranked on next week's first sports information State Top 20 rankings.

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team fought back from three deficits, including the most important one in extra time for a wild 3-3 tie v. Saddleback on Friday, keeping the team's undefeated season going at 3-0-2.

For the second straight season, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team opened the schedule with a 3-game winning streak. On Friday, staked by a 3-0 lead, the Lancers held on for a 3-2 triumph over Palomar in the squad's 2025 home opener at Robinson Stadium.
